Where are our cookies coming from? How is Otah made? What does a baker look like and why are coffee beans black? Find answers to these and many more questions while visiting factories producing Cakes, Cookies, Muffins, Hot Dogs. Coffee Roaster and Otah Factory. Round up the visit for your Primary 2 students with a visit to a Crocodile Farm where you learn about rearing crocodiles and the products they make out of them.
2. Farms, Farms, Farms
Goats, Fish and Vegetables are in the centre of attention during this trip! Our Lion Guides will engage the students by putting emphasis not only on the biological aspect of a farm visit but also on how to take responsibility and care for animals at home. We will visit a Fish Farm specialised in Ornamental and Aquarium Fish, proceed to a Farm specialised in organic Farming and find out what is special about Goats.
3. Different Places of Worship
One of the most culturally diverse areas in Singapore is Waterloo Street and Albert Mall area. You find places of worship of Buddhists, Christians, Hindus and Jews. With these places come people of different walks of life worshipping at the different places. Watch and visit, see the differences and the commonalities and give your students an experience they will not forget. See the Methodist Church which is an Arts House today! On our way to and from Waterloo Street we will add information on a Gurdwara which can be seen from the coach and we will stop over at a mosque as well.
